We are extremely proud to announce that our Collision Reporting and Occurrence Management System (CROMS) has won two prestigious awards from Microsoft, taking top honours both globally and nationally.
At the Microsoft World Wide Partners Conference, ASSI’s CROMS application was recognized as a Global Winner and was chosen out of an international field of top submissions by Microsoft Partners for delivering market-leading customer solutions built on Microsoft technology. This award was presented at a ceremony July 9, in Minneapolis , Minnesota at the annual event. |
Each year, awards are presented in a number of categories, with winners chosen from a pool of more than 1,800 entrants worldwide.
CROMS won the Integrated E-Business Solutions Award based on its unique features as an integrated, inter-operable, modularized, extensible and security-enhanced application. Winning the Award coincided with an international presentation at the 2005 Traffic Records Forum in Buffalo, New York where we performed a live demonstration of the system through a Web Portal. Delegates from the National Safety Council (NSC) and the Association of Traffic Safety Information Professionals (ATSIP) watched as a collision that occurred at 10:00 AM was entirely captured and recorded (complete with Police Report, digital photos, and statement) by 11:00 AM!
A few months later, Microsoft Canada acknowledged CROMS as the best nationally. Once again, Accident Support Services’ CROMS took top honours with Microsoft’s Impact Award for excellence as “Solution of the Year!
CROMS is a unique, state-of-the-art application. It is a paperless, single point of collection for the reporting and distribution of vehicle collisions. The CROMS application supports a unique partnership between the general public, police services, insurance firms, road safety engineers and the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) for the Province of Ontario. |
