| Letter From A Fan |
Recently, Officer Merv Ryan of the Toronto Detachment OPP stationed at the Toronto East Collision Reporting Center (CRC) received a very special acknowledgement for a job very well done from a young admirer and his mother. Below is a transcript of a letter sent to Officer Dennis:
Hello Mr. Dennis, Just wanted to say “thank you” for the special way you treated my son, Brandon on August 19, 2003 at the Toronto East Collision Reporting Center. You really made him feel special by allowing him to wear your hat and sit with you.
Now, all he talks about is wanting to be an Officer when he grows up. This is the first time Brandon has had such a close contact with an Officer, and it has left a very positive influence on him. You were so friendly with Brandon, it really made him feel comfortable. For this I say “thank you” for being the person you are.
Brandon will always remember you and the kindness you have shown. There are so may bad influences in society today, but you have made a difference to a young child.
I wish you all the very best and thank you once again.
Sincerely, Sandra
All of us at Accident Support Services would like to add our congratulations to Officer Dennis. It is largely because of the people at the CRCs that the Program is so successful. |
